A Little Experiment...

Hello again!

I'd like to take this opportunity to attempt a NEW way of displaying storyboards online (new to me anyway) without having to open separate image files and scroll around and totally take you, the reader, out of the story experience.

I will now post a quicktime "Pitch Movie" of a storyboard I did for "My Gym Partner's a Monkey", entitled "A Whole Zoo World".

This is pretty much what the board looks like when I go to pitch it to whoever I need to pitch it to- in this case it was for Tim and Julie Cahill (two of the coolest people to work for) and the Gym Partner crew (one of the best crews I've ever been lucky to be a part of).

To view it, DO NOT PRESS PLAY! Simply click on the quicktime movie and scroll through it FRAME BY FRAME with the right arrow key. There's no sound either- you're going to have to use your imagination (a little audience participation never hurt anyone.)

Let me know what you think in the comments section. If this works I will post more storyboard goodness!

yer pal,

P.S. All characters are property of Cartoon Network Studios.

It's about time...

Hey everybody! After all this time and at the urging of friends I've finally given in and started a blog of my artwork. I guess what's really cool about this is now that most of these shows are done it gives me an opportunity to finally show all the cool stuff we had to cut out of episodes of shows like Billy and Mandy or My Gym Partner's a Monkey- and give people a taste of what is was like behind the scenes.

I'll start things off with one of my favorite "Mandy-isms" from "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy". Maxwell Atoms (God Bless that man) gave me the opportunity to storyboard these when I was just starting out as a storyboard revisionist on the show. I did a whole batch of them- not all of them made it- but I will post them all up as soon as I scan them. Until then- enjoy!
